Felted insoles provide extra cushion and comfort
Make the Kyrgies experience even more comfortable with our soft insoles and transform your favorite house shoe into a unique piece of footwear that matches your personality.
Made from the same wool felt as our iconic slippers, these insoles are designed to give extra cushioning to your house shoe for a cozier fit. Available in 12 distinctively vibrant colors, they’re also the perfect choice for adding a splash of color to our Kyrgies in neutral shades.
What’s more, if you’re between sizes and worried your new Kyrgies will be a little too large, an insole can ensure your new house shoes are a close and comfortable fit. Thanks to the moisture-wicking and odor-resistant properties of wool, these insoles will work with your slipper to keep your feet cozy and perfectly odor-free.

Of course! Like all of our Kyrgies slippers, these wool felt insoles come from our factory in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. There, they’re lovingly handcrafted by Kyrgyz artisans to whom we pay a fair wage for their craftsmanship. Forming part of a tradition of felting that has existed for thousands of years, our felt house shoes are made using all-natural materials, including low-impact dyes that don’t damage local ecosystems.
Each pair of Kyrgies house shoes is handcrafted by local, Kyrgyz artisans, who are paid a fair wage for their work. In fact, your purchase keeps our factory in operation, where 80% of employees are women. You can learn more by visiting our and .
FAQs
Sounds great. How can I ensure I buy the correct size?
We recommend choosing an insole that matches the size of your slipper. However, as our insoles are handmade, they can vary slightly in size.
If you do find that your insole doesn’t fit correctly, our returns policy means you can quickly and easily swap them for the size you need.
How can I keep my insoles in tip-top condition?
As with our Kyrgies slippers, you should never wash your insoles using water. Like all wool products, our insoles can shrink or be misshapen through contact with water. Because wool is naturally moisture-wicking, these insoles should actually refrain from picking up any unpleasant odors during the course of their lifetime. However, if they do become stained, get them dry cleaned. They’ll be returned — as if by magic — to their original condition.
